Lady Wave place second at Lady Blazer Invitational

GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave placed second in the Lady Blazer Invitational played at Highland Golf Course under the direction of veteran head coach Tracy Haines.

Butler won the invitational with a 402, Greenville placed second with 409, Arcanum was third with 410, Tipp City finished fourth with 420, Tri-Village was fifth with 444, Miami East was sixth with 490, and National Trail finished seventh with 493.

Vera Cox led the Lady Wave with a 95, Sofia Chrisman carded a 100, Callee Moore had a 106, and Taylor Trissel finished with a 108. Also playing were Reese Addington with a 121 and Kennedy Schoen with a 135.

“The girls played well at the first invitational of the year,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “Vera, Sofia, Callee, and Taylor all played better than last year. Reese and Kennedy did not play this course last year, and they played well.”
