SPRINGFIELD – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team traveled to Springfield’s Locust Hills Golf Course to play in the Miami Valley League Conference Tournament, with the Lady Wave finishing in second place with a 365.
“The girls played very well today, and I am very happy and proud of them,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines.
Playing for the Lady Wave were Vera Cox with an 81, Sofia Chrisman with an 89, Taylor Trissel with a 94, and Lyla Brinley with a 101. Also playing were Payton Fourman with a 107 and Kennedy Schoen with a 119.
“Lyla Brinley created a lot of excitement with a hole-in-one on Hole 11,” said Coach Haines.
Taylor Trissel had a personal best with a 94, Lyla Brinley had a personal best with a 101, and Payton Fourman had a personal best with a 107.
