Lady Wave golf team plays well on hard Beavercreek course

BEAVERCREEK – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team dropped a 177-203 non-conference golf match to the home-standing Beavercreek girls golf team played at the Beavercreek Golf Course.

“The girls played well on a hard golf course,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “We still need to work on a few things, but the work they are doing is starting to pay off.”

The Lady Wave was led by Vera Cox, who shot a 43. Callee Moore shot a 50, Sofia Chrisman had a 55, and Taylor Trissel carded a 55. Also playing for the Lady Wave were Ava Good and Kennedy Schoen, who both shot a 69.

Beavercreek was led by Nora Meek with a 39, Hailey McKenzie with a 39, Caitlyn Larson with a 46, and Olivia Bowers with a 53.

Vera Cox’s nine-hole personal best was a 43, and Callee Moore shot a 50 personal best.
