TROY – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team dropped a 202-193 MVL varsity match to the Troy Lady Trojans at Miami Shores Golf Course.
“The girls had a little trouble with the greens at Miami Shores,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “The greens were not consistent in the speed. We will continue to work on our putting.”
The Lady Wave were led by Vera Cox with a 41, Sofia Chrisman shot a 49, Callee Moore carded a 53, and Taylor Trissel with a 59. Also playing were Kennedy Schoen with a 64 and Ava Good with a 68.
The Lady Trojans were paced by Morgan Maxwell with a 44, Jacy King a 45, Myah Bitemo with a 50 and Ava Smith a 54. Also playing were Malela Bitemo with a 56 and Emma Warnecke with a 67.
The Lady Wave is now 3-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
