PIQUA – The Lady Wave golf team earned an MVL road win over the Piqua Lady Indians 189-201, played at Echo Hills Golf Courts.
Vera Cox led Greenville with a 41, followed by Sofia Chrisman with 45, and Taylor Trissel carded a 48. Also helping the Lady Wave win was Reese Addington with a 59 and Kennedy Schoen with a 66.
“This was a good win for the girls,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “It was great to have three of them in the 40s. Sofia and Taylor both had personal bests today.”.
Piqua was led by Jenna Snyder, who had a 48, Kaylie Hittle, who had a 50, Izzy Thoma, who had a 51, and Aubree Carroll, who had a 52. Haylie Schultz, who had a 58, and Emery Kuhlman, who had a 65, also played.
Piqua won the earlier conference match of the season between the two MVL teams 204-205.
With the win, the Lady Wave improve to 5-6 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
