MIAMISBURG – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team finished eighth out of 15 teams in the Miamisburg Invitational at Pipestone Golf Course.
“It was very hot and humid day,” said Lady Wave coach Tracy Haines. “The girls struggled a little as this golf course is the toughest they have seen this early in the season.”
The Greenville Lady Wave was led by Sofia Chrisman, who shot a 97. Vera Cox carded 100,
shot 114, and Taylor Trissel finished with 123. Also playing for the Wave were Paityn Lehr, who shot 125, and Kennedy Schoen, who shot 135.
“There is room for improvement in chipping and putting,” Haines noted. “We will work on those in practice this week.”
