GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave golfers hosted the Piqua Lady Indians at Turtle Creek Golf Course on September 10th for Senior Night.
The Lady Wave honored six seniors before the match: Addy Arnett, Sofia Chrisman, Reese Addington, Vera Cox, Taylor Trissel, and Maria Plessinger.
The Lady Wave won the Senior Night match by a score of 192-219. Sofia Chrisman led the Lady Wave with a 43, followed by Vera Cox with a 45, Reese Addington with a 52, and Lyla Brinley with a 52. Also playing for the Lady Wave were Taylor Trissel with a 60 and Kennedy Schoen with a 68.
“Sofia and Reese both had personal bests for 9 holes tonight,” said Coach Tracy Haines. “The girls played well today and are peaking at the correct time. Next week, we have both the MVL Tournament and Sectionals.”
The Lady Wave is 9-2 overall and 5-1 in Miami Valley League play.
The Lady Wave JV team also defeated the Piqua JV team 249-268. The Lady Wave was led by Addy Arnett with a 57, Maria Plessinger a 60, Ayla Weyant shot a 64 and Erin Winner finished with a 68. Maria and Ayla both had personal bests for 9 holes.
