TROY – The Greenville Lady Wave took their golf game to Troy Country Club to take on the host Troy Lady Trojans and brought home a 200-205 MVL win.
“The girls played well on a golf course they have never seen,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “We now have to get ready for the MVL conference tournament and sectionals.”
The Lady Wave was led by Vera Cox, who shot a 43. Callee Moore shot a 51, and Sofia Chrisman and Taylor Trissel each had a 53. Also playing for the Wave were Paityn Lehr, who shot a 54, and Kennedy Schoen, who shot a 64.
Morgan Maxwell, with a 43, Myah Bitemo, with a 47, Malela Bitemo, with a 56, and Jacy King, with a 59, played for Troy. Also playing were Jacy King, with a 59, and Ava Smith, with a 61.
The Lady Wave finished the regular season 7-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
