Knapke set to retire from Mercer County Sheriff’s Office

CELINA – After 26 years of faithful and dedicated service to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Captain Lori Knapke is retiring.

She began her career here as a 9-1-1 dispatcher in 1998 and quickly rose through the ranks, from Deputy to Administrative Sergeant to Administrative Lieutenant, and for the last three years, she has served as Captain of our Civil Division.

Her dedication, sacrifice and commitment to serving our community will never be forgotten and we thank her for her service. Congratulations on a career well done!
