MIAMI COUNTY – Congratulations to Covington & Bradford Schools’ incoming kindergartners who graduated Safety Town last week. Safety Town offers many topics on safety to include bicycle and pedestrian safety, when to call 911, water safety, and several others.
The week-long 2-hour-a-day class would not be possible without the help of many public safety professionals. Big thanks to Bradford Fire Department, Miami County Robinson Branch YMCS, Miami County Communications Center, Bradford & Covington Schools, Deputy Thobe & K9 Vello, and our terrific MCSO school resource officers!
Safety Town’s next stop will be at the upcoming Miami County Fair in front of the Sheriff’s building.
