Kermit Delay “Kermie” Foureman, 85 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday on July 13, 2024 at 10:40 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community. Kermie was born April 24, 1939 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Berman W. and Lucille (Hill) Foureman.

Kermie was a plumber owning and operating his plumbing business before becoming a farmer full-time after which he returned to plumbing managing Plumbsmith.

Kermie was a hardworking man whose integrity was unmatched, he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others; he enjoyed fishing, he was a great craftsman and woodworker. Kermie also raised night crawlers and sold them to the Wayne Lakes Bait Shop and other businesses and people. Kermie will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Kermie is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Gary (Sue) Foureman, and Richard Foureman.

Kermie is survived by his wife, Mary (Price) Foureman whom he married June 7, 1982; his children Kevin (Kristie Cox) Foureman, Scott (Hallie) Foureman, Tony Pereira, Denise Anderson, Michelle Pereira, and Ron (Genni) Pereira; his grandchildren, Hannah (Josh) Smith, Cecily Ashworth, Dane Pereira, Samantha Pereira, Brody Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, Dominique Pereira, Alexander Pereira, Kileigh (Caleb) Tolbert, Brenna Pereira, Ryan Pereira, Erin Pereira, Aiden Pereira, Molly Pereira, and Kennedy Pereira; his great-granddaughter, Hedy Smith; his brother, Doug Foureman, his sister, Kathy Good; his sister in law, Nancy Foureman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday July 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday July 18, 2024 and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
