GREENVILLE – In the early morning hours on Tuesday multiple vehicles were reported stolen in the City of Greenville. Officers were able to locate two of the vehicles found abandoned within the city limits.
A deputy from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office spotted another stolen vehicle traveling southbound on US 127 near SR 49. The driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Dayton fled the scene on foot after driving off the roadway. Law enforcement was able to apprehend the teen, who will face Grand Theft charges.
Additionally, Greenville Police Officers recovered another vehicle, reported stolen out of Preble County.
At this time, at least two vehicles remain missing. One is a 2018 gray Kia SUV – Ohio license JSJ2354, the second vehicle is a 2024 black/chrome Chevrolet Corvette – Ohio license KKR4701.
