Icy conditions lead to rollover crash

DARKE COUNTY – On Sunday at approximately 6:08 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Ansonia Rescue and Ansonia Fire Department, were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 127 and York, near Versailles, in reference to a single-vehicle rollover crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2004 Dodge Ram operated by Martin Slaven (47) of Celina, was traveling north on U.S. 127. Slaven lost control on the ice before traveling off the roadway and struck a ditch before rolling over.

Krystal Shreves (38) of Celina was also in the vehicle. Shreves was treated at the scene and two juvenile passengers were transported to Wayne Healthcare for minor injuries.
