DARKE COUNTY – The Harness Horse Youth Foundation will be stopping in Ohio with the summer camp program on June 19; the Darke County Fairgrounds in Greenville has graciously agreed to host the one-day program.
“The event is designed for the kid who loves horses but doesn’t have one, the kid who owns and rides his/her own as well as the kid who likes competitive sports – the total focus will be on harness racing – from equipment, harnessing, hitching, career exploration and the opportunity to actually drive a member of the HHYF stable,” explained Ellen Taylor Executive Director of HHYF.
The day will begin at 8 AM and dismiss at 3 PM. The fee, including lunch, is $40. Participants must be 11 years of age or older. Pre-registration is required using this link https://hhyf.org/summer-programs/
