DARKE COUNTY – The regular Darke County Commissioners meeting started at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16th, Commissioners Aultman and Flatter were present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from April 14.
The Examination and Allowance of bills dated April 16th were presented. The General Fund amount was $418,997.86, and the Outside General Funds were $404671.60, totaling $823,669.46. They were approved.
A Transfer of Appropriation increase for the Board of D. D. in the amount of $3,000.00 was approved for unanticipated vehicle repairs. A second transfer for D.C. Adult Probation’s 2025 Community Corrections Grant amounting to $4,861.06 was also approved for a term vacation pay-out.
A Fund Advance of $13,500.00 for the 2025 Brownfield Grant for Patriot Engineering’s Contract at the Jones property on Gray Avenue was approved.
The Darke County Auditor/Ditch Assessments had a Fund Transfer of $23,570.29 to cover Ditch Maintenance expenses for January-March, 2026, which was also approved.
The Darke County Grants Dept. had a Pre-Demolition/Asbestos Inspection Service contract for Turn-Key Environmental Consultants for two properties. One property was 2585 Hollansburg-Richmond Road, Hollansburg, and the other was 142 Jefferson St. in New Madison. The Contract for $1,450.00 was approved.
