Hazel M. (Marker) Nickol, age 85, of Versailles, passed away at 12:40 pm Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville.
Hazel was born July 10, 1938, in Darke County to the late Sam & Esta (McKann) Marker. She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, a great-grandson, and her brothers and sisters.
Hazel is survived by her children, Carol (Steve) Fullenkamp, Gina (Steve) Morgan, and Troy (Adolfo Echererry) Nickol; grandchildren Matt and Amanda Fullenkamp, Ryan and Andrea Fullenkamp, Michael and Sara Morgan, and Rob and Stacey Morgan; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hazel sold Avon for over 60 years. She loved animals.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. A private graveside service will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Humane Society, 7053 St. Rt. 49 N.
