DARKE COUNTY—Happy National Ag Day from everyone at My County Link!
On this day we celebrate American agriculture and the farm and ranch families who take great pride in growing a safe, sustainable food supply for our community.
Darke County is the number one county in the state for several different industries, including corn, winter wheat, cattle and dairy. The county is also number two in the state for soybeans and egg production.
“Happy National Ag Day,” Darke County Commissioner Matt Aultman said. “Today is National Ag Day. Go pick up a meal from the Maidrite or any other local restaurant, because a farmer grew that meal for you.”
