For some reason, I do not know what happened with the rest of last week’s column, but I will add it to this week’s submission.
So I will have deaths, birthdays and anniversaries plus an updated prayer list this week.
Our mother, Bea Riffell Moody, would have celebrated her 98th birthday on Sunday. She was born Dec. 27 1927, the youngest of nine children and she passed away Sept. 25, 2019.
I can’t say it enough, she is surely missed, but we know she is in a better place with Dad, Lee Jr. Moody, who passed July 20, 2016, one month shy of his 90th birthday.
They were the best parents we could have ever asked for. Life sure is different without them but we are persevering somewhat.
All of you readers out there, have a Happy New Year and celebrate wisely.
