GREENVILLE – According to the Greenville Police Department, on Friday, a member of the Greenville Fire Department was doing his duties at a fire scene on Oxford Dr., and he located a possible hand grenade. Following the discovery, nearby residents and businesses were evacuated for safety measures.
The Dayton Police Department Bomb Squad responded. The Dayton Bomb Squad determined the hand grenade was inert and took custody of the item for destruction.
