GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave varsity tennis team honored five seniors before defeating the visiting Lehman Catholic Lady Cavaliers 4-1 in non-conference tennis action at Greenville National Bank Court.
Greenville seniors recognized included Maddie Lance, Trisha Wells, Yoselin Nilsen, Cloe Osborne, and Jadyn Norris.

“Maddy is a four-year tennis player and is our team captain this year,” said Greenville coach Lori Keller. “She has been an outstanding leader for our team, both on and off the court. She represents a long line of tennis players in the Lance family, and we will miss her humble leadership next year.”
“Trisha and Cloe have played on the tennis team for two years, while this is Yoselin and Jadyn’s first year,” Coach Keller continued. “We would have loved to have had them on our team for all four years, after watching the growth that has taken place in such a short time. It was beautiful to watch our team embrace all the new players this year and encourage and support them in their matches.”
With the Monday Senior Night win and a Tuesday night 4-1 conference win over the Sidney Lady Yellow Jackets, the Lady Wave improves to an impressive 10-5 overall mark and a 6-2 MVL season record.
Greenville currently stands fourth in the always tough Miami Division, but would stand alone in first place in the Valley Division ahead of Fairborn, Sidney, Stebbins, and West Carrollton.
