TROTWOOD – The Greenville varsity boys tennis team defeated the Trotwood Rams 4-1 in non-conference Monday night play.
“Excellent team win,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers. “Trotwood is a well-coached DI tennis team and we were able to get a nice win to go on the resume.”
Winning at singles for the Green Wave included Mason Pierri at first singles and Kaitlin Combs at third singles.
Greenville swept the doubles matches with the teams of Simon Snyder / Drew Beisner and Avery Yount / Eli Willis earning wins.
“Our doubles teams are improving each day,” Bowers stated. “It was nice to see Kaitlin Combs gain some confidence in the third singles slot.
With the win, Greenville improves to 6-5 on the season.
