GREENVILLE – Greenville defeated the Eaton Eagles 3-2 in non-conference tennis action on the Wave’s home courts.

“Solid team win,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers. “We were down a couple of our main players but we were able to pull out a win and move on.”

Mason Pierri and Kaitlyn Combs won in singles matches and a Avery Yount and Daniel Kerns won in doubles for Greenville.

“We were off most of the week with the weather and it was a cold one,” Coach Bowers stated, “so it was one of those matches we had to battle through and we did so, I am proud of that.”

With the early season win Greenville improves to 3-2 on the year.
