Greenville student signs with WSU Music Program

GREENVILLE—Greenville senior Aleiha Fenton signed with the music program at Wright State University last week.

Chelsea Whirledge, vocal music director at Greenville High School, said working with Fenton over the past four years has been an absolute joy.

“She has so much natural talent,” she said. “She truly wants to learn and grow as much as possible.”

Whirledge added that she’s excited to excited to see the young singer further her education in the field of music, as she is a truly gifted vocalist and performer.

Fenton will graduate from GHS this next month, then head to Wright State in the fall to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. She will primarily focus on Vocal/Choral music, and be involved in choir as well.
