GREENVILLE – The Greenville Public Library (GPL) offers a variety of recurring programs throughout November designed to help community members connect, create, and learn. From storytime and creative activities for children to relaxed crafting and coloring groups for adults, there are plenty of opportunities to find something enjoyable at the library.
Programs for Children
Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 11 a.m., Ms. Ashley welcomes the littlest readers to Storytime. These sessions introduce young children to the joy of books and stories in a fun, welcoming environment. November Storytime dates are November 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18. There will be no Storytime during Thanksgiving week.
On Thursday, November 5, at 4:30 p.m., builders of all ages are invited to Lego Club. Participants can use their imaginations, get creative, and enjoy building alongside others.
Kids Art Club meets on Thursday, November 12, at 4:30 p.m. and is designed for children ages 8–14. Registration is now required to help Ms. Ashley better plan activities and prepare supplies for participants. Families can register online or by calling the library.
Programs for Adults
Adults looking for a creative outlet or a chance to connect with others can join one of GPL’s relaxed, drop-in groups.
Sassy Stitchers meets on the first and fourth Tuesdays of each month from noon to 2 p.m. In November, the group will meet on November 3 and 24. This casual fiber arts group welcomes anyone interested in crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, and other fiber crafts. Participants are welcome to stay for the entire session or drop in whenever their schedule allows. Bring a project and enjoy crafting alongside fellow enthusiasts.
Color & Connect takes place on Thursday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This casual gathering offers a chance to unwind with coloring, conversation, and community. Participants can stay for as long as they like or simply stop by when it’s convenient. All supplies are provided.
Whether you’re introducing a little one to the world of reading, exploring a new creative activity, or looking for a welcoming place to enjoy a hobby, GPL has something for you. These recurring programs reflect the library’s commitment to helping people connect with their community, create something meaningful, and learn at every stage of life.
