GREENVILLE – After nearly a year without a movie screening, Greenville Public Library is bringing its movie matinee back with a special showing of the beloved 1998 film Practical Magic on Thursday, October 29, at 1 p.m.
Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, Practical Magic follows two generations of witches as they navigate family, love and a centuries-old curse. The film is based on Alice Hoffman’s bestselling novel of the same name.
Set against a charming backdrop of magic, romance and sisterhood, Practical Magic has become a favorite for audiences looking for a little supernatural fun with their autumn viewing.
The October screening marks the return of movie programming to the library after nearly a year and offers patrons an opportunity to gather, relax and enjoy a classic film together.
The movie will be shown Thursday, October 29, at 1 p.m. at Greenville Public Library. Admission is free.
