DARKE COUNTY – On Thursday at approximately 6:46 p.m., Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Greenville Township Fire and Rescue and Greenville City Fire, responded to the 4200 block of SR 571 in reference to a single vehicle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Black 2004 Harley Davidson, driven by David Sharp (61) of Greenville, was traveling East on SR 571. Sharp had to swerve to avoid a collision with a group of deer in the roadway, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle.
Sharp was transported to Wayne HealthCare to be treated for minor injuries.
This accident remains under investigation.
