GREENVILLE – Matthew R. Blackburn (27) of Greenville was sentenced to serve 30 days in the Darke County Jail on Monday after pleading guilty to Attempted Possession of LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) a felony of the fourth degree.
Blackburn was originally indicted on Possession of LSD (F3) after he was arrested July 29, 2023 for possessing 50 unit doses of the hallucinogenic drug. He was ordered to turn himself into the Darke County Jail on Wednesday to begin serving a 23-day sentence. Common Pleas Court Judge Travis L. Fliehman credited Blackburn with seven jail credit days.
In addition to jail, Blackburn is ordered to serve up to 60 months on probation, 100 hours of community service and pay court costs and a $500 restitution. If he were to violate probation, he could face up to 18 months in prison.
