GREENVILLE – On Sunday, the Greenville Police Department was dispatched to a sexual offense complaint. After an investigation, Kyle W. Harter (39) of Greenville was arrested on Monday, charged with Pandering Obscenities Involving a Minor and Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity-Oriented Material, both felonies of the 2nd degree.
The details of the case remain under investigation, but according to the Criminal Complaint filed with the Clerk of Courts, at least one victim was under the age of 13.
Harter is currently jailed at the Darke County Criminal Justice Center after Darke County Common Pleas Court Judge Travis Fliehman issued a $100,000 bond Wednesday morning. If Harter is able to make bail Judge Fliehman ordered he be on house arrest and no contact with any minor children.
If convicted as charged he could face 16 years behind bars.
