GREENVILLE – Both Lady Wave Jr. High teams came off their home diamonds with a pair of “W’s ” Tuesday night, as they took on the visiting Lady Pirates of West Carrollton.
The 8th Grade Lady Wave, coached by Jeff Shilt, led the team to a 20-0 victory over the Lady Pirates. This moves them up to a 7-1 record in MVL play and 7-1 in overall standings.
The 7th Grade Lady Wave, coached by Ryan Brubaker, led his team to a 7-3 win over West Carrollton. The younger Lady Wave team is now 3-4 in MVL play and 4-4 overall in league action.
It is a packed week for Jr. High softball this week, as the 7th Grade team will be back on the home diamonds tomorrow night to take on the Troy Lady Trojans, traveling to Vandalia to take on the Vandalia-Butler Lady Aviators on Wednesday evening and back home on Thursday night to face off against the Tipp City Lady Red Devils. The 8th Grade team will be on the road to Mad River M.S. to play the Stebbins Lady Indians on Wednesday night and at Pitsenbarger Park to take on the Piqua Lady Indians on Thursday night. All game times start with the first pitch at 5:30 p.m
