GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave hosted the Troy Lady Trojans in an MVL varsity golf match on Tuesday, September 2nd at Greenville’s Turtle Creek Golf Course.
The Lady Wave won the match 206-229. Leading the Lady Wave were Vera Cox with a 42, Lyla Brinley with a 52, Sofia Chrisman with a 53, and Taylor Trissel with a 59. Also playing for the Lady Wave were Kennedy Schoen with a 64 and Reese Addington with a 68.
“The girls played well even after having three days off for the holiday,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “We will need to work on putting.”
Playing for Troy were Malela Bitmo with a 53, McKinlee Gambrell with a 55, Liv Garrity with a 58, and Piper Jackson with a 63. Also playing were Danielle Duff with a 65 and Megan Sowers with a 68.
The Lady Wave is 6-2 overall on the season and 4-1 in conference play.
