Greenville Farm Power of the Past Ready to kick off their 24th Anniversary Reunion

Greenville Farm Power of the Past is ready to kick off their 24th Anniversary Reunion on Thursday, July 6, at the Darke County Fairgrounds.

Opening ceremonies begin at 9:00 AM, and the festivities begin.

John Deere is the featured company this year. While many are familiar with tractors and equipment, John Deere also produced stationary gas engines that supplied power before electricity was common in rural areas.

The Oil Field Engine Society is also on the grounds with their large engines. There will be several hundred tractors of all makes and models and gas engines of every size.

While you are there, be sure to check out the 25 food trucks and the arts, crafts, and flea market, which features over 100 vendors. The swap meet area will change vendors daily

The first story and craft time for kids is Thursday at 11:00 AM.

There will be a square dance Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 in the Youth Building. Wesley Fenton is the caller.

Daily admission is $5.00 per person. A membership/gate pass is $10.00 per person. Kids 12 and under are admitted free. Golf cart/gator registration is $10.00.
