GREENVILLE – The Greenville varsity baseball team upset the visiting Troy Trojans 4-3 in MVL action at Sater Heights Park after taking the lead late in the game.
“We played a good game defensively,” said Greenville coach, Adam Eberwein. “Not perfect but good enough to give ourselves a chance at the end.”

Ricky Heidrich earned the win for Greenville going seven innings, allowing 3-runs on seven hits, striking out 8 Troy Trojans without walking a batter.
“It all starts with good pitching,” said Greenville coach, Adam Eberwein. “Ricky did a fantastic job hitting his locations and changing speeds.”
