PIQUA – The Greenville Lady Wave golf team defeated the Piqua Lady Indians 214-217 in Thursday night MVL action at Echo Hills Golf Club.
The Lady Wave were led by Sofia Chrisman with a 49; Vera Cox shot a 50; Callee Moore carded a 56 and Reese Addington finished with a 59. Also playing for Greenville was Ava Good with a 77.
The Piqua Lady Indians were led by Aubree Carroll with a 48; Braylin Shaner shot a 54; Emery Kulhman a 57 and Izzy Thoma carded a 58. Also playing for Piqua were Jenna Snyder with a 62 and Marin Funderberg a 70.
“Sofia’s 49 was a personal best for 9 holes and Reese’s 59 was also a personal best for 9 holes,” noted Greenville coach, Tracy Haines.
With the win, the young Lady Wave team improves to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
The Lady Wave go on the road Tuesday, September 19 to take on the Butler Lady Aviators and return home Wednesday, September 20 with Troy in town at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
