WEST CARROLLTON – The Greenville boys tennis team won its third straight match Thursday, sweeping West Carrollton 5-0 on the Pirates’ home courts to improve to 6-4 on the season.
“Great dominant MVL win with everyone winning in straight sets for a third straight win,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers. “We’re picking up some confidence going into a big MVL matchup Friday against a very good Butler team.”

Greenville was strong from top to bottom in singles play. Eli Willis earned the win at first singles, Hudson Pierri was victorious at second singles, and Drew Beisner picked up a win in MVL play at third singles.
The Green Wave also controlled doubles competition. Gabe Rammel and Silas Lacey won at first doubles, while Shane Gilman and Kelton Evans were victorious at second doubles.

With the win, Greenville continued its recent strong play and will carry momentum into Friday’s conference matchup against Butler.
