GREENVILLE – The Green Wave boys golf team defeated the visiting Fairborn Skyhawks on Senior Night at Turtle Creek Golf Course by a 170-230 score in conference play.
“Great win on Senior Night,” said Greenville coach, Brian Stickle. “These seniors will be missed. They have provided some great leadership. Nice for them to end 5-4 in the league and 7-6 overall.”
Green Wave senior, Ethan Sunsdahl was medalist on the night with a round of 36 in Miami Valley League play.
Bryce Blumenstock (senior) shot a 44 and seniors Aidan Honeyman and Aaron Lavy shot 45 for the Wave. Also playing was Drew Beisner with a 47 and Will Gettinger (senior) a 50.
“Both Ethan and Aidan birdied their last hole,” noted Coach Stickle. “Aidan chipped his in. The other four guys parred the last hole. Really great way to end the match.”

The Greenville boys golf team will now play Thursday in the MVL Tournament.
