GREENVILLE – The Greenville Police Department, in collaboration with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, has arrested Howard McLain, an employee of the Michael’s Resource Treatment Center, on two counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor, both felonies of the second degree.
The Michael’s Resource Treatment Center is a community-based treatment facility for adjudicated unruly and delinquent males located in Darke County.
The investigation was initiated yesterday after ICAC provided a tip regarding illegal online activity. Within approximately four hours of receiving the tip, Greenville Police detectives executed a search warrant at McLain’s residence. Evidence was collected, leading to his immediate arrest.
Detectives also promptly contacted the Michael’s Resource Treatment Center to inform them of the investigation and McLain’s arrest. Michael’s Resource Treatment Center has been cooperative with law enforcement throughout this process. There have been no victims related to these crimes in Darke County.
