BROOKVILLE – The Greenville Green Wave earned a 4-1 varsity boys tennis win over the Brookville Blue Devils on the Blue Devils’ home courts, improving to 7-5 on the 2026 season.
Greenville picked up wins in two singles flights and both doubles matches to secure the non-league victory.
In singles action, Eli Willis posted a 6-4, 6-2 win, while Hudson Pierri also earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
The Green Wave was dominant in doubles play. Gabe Rammel and Silas Lacey rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win, and Shane Gilman and Kelton Evans followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
“Our young tennis team keeps finding ways to win matches and stay above .500, really good team win,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers. “These kids keep improving every practice, every match.”
Bowers also praised the team’s support for one another throughout the match.
“Great team comradarie cheering each other on, supporting each other until final match is done, which I love to see,” Bowers said.
With the win, Greenville moves to 7-5 on the 2026 varsity boys tennis season.
