TROTWOOD – The Greenville boys varsity tennis team capped a demanding week with a decisive 5-0 sweep of the Trotwood-Madison Rams in non-conference action Thursday night.

Playing four matches in as many days, the Green Wave showed no signs of fatigue, turning in one of their most complete performances of the season.

“With our tough schedule this week and playing Monday through Thursday, I’m proud of how we finished strong with a dominant win,” said Greenville coach Sam Bowers. “We’ve been battling some of our toughest competition of the season and continuing to improve and compete. Couldn’t ask for more.”

Greenville controlled play across the board, sweeping all three singles matches and both doubles courts.

Leading the way in singles were Eli Willis at first singles, Hudson Pierri at second singles, and Drew Beisner at third singles, each securing wins for the Wave.

In doubles play, the first doubles team of Gabe Rammel and Silas Lacey earned a victory, while Kelton Evans and Shane Gilman completed the sweep with a win at second doubles.

“I continue to be very impressed with our singles lineup,” Bowers said. “They are tough to beat. Our doubles teams keep getting better each day with experience.”

With the win, Greenville improves to 4-4 on the 2026 season as the team continues to build momentum through a challenging early schedule.
