DARKE COUNTY – We are excited to be partnering with local government entities and businesses to increase accessibility for anyone in our community with mobility and/or sensory needs.
Darke DD secured a grant for the following projects:
- YOLO park – Universal changing table (the city is adding a family restroom)
- EUM Church Main Campus – universal changing table
- New Madison Public Library – universal changing table (the library will convert both bathrooms to family restrooms)
- Darke County Fairgrounds – universal changing table, paved pathways for accessibility to animal barns, and sensory-friendly room
- Radiant Lighthouse Church – wheelchair lift to main stage
- Garst Avenue County Building – addition of a ramp to access the Probate Court and the Health Department located on the second floor
