Grace J. Combs, 92, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 4:54 PM at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville. Grace was born October 16, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Helen M (Shatts) Lewellen. Grace worked at Wayne Healthcare as head of housekeeping.
Grace was a Member of the Greenville Moose Ladies Auxiliary; she enjoyed spending her time sewing, baking, and dancing.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, David F. Harsh; her 2nd husband, Larry Combs; her daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Mike Mong.
Grace is survived by her sons, Tim Harsh and Tom Harsh; her grandchildren, Timothy Harsh Jr., Tina and Scott Govey, Thomas Harsh III, Brittany Augustine, and David Harsh; her great-grandchildren, Maranda, Brianna, Alivia, Cynthia, Andrew, Airianah, and Lorlei, Bella, Sofia, Lucca, Scarlett, and Norah; Her brother, Robert Paulus; her sister, Carolyn and Kenny Leffel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
