What a crazy world we live in! It’s mostly a beautiful place, but some circumstances are constantly upsetting things.
So much has happened recently that it makes me concerned that we only have so much more time here on the earth. The weather here with more tornadoes than every before in this community taking place, not to mention snowfalls and rain and wind as of late taking over.
I am liking this warm weather but wonder if it’s going to last. We surely will get at least one more snowfall, but I guess we will wait and see.
There have been good and bad times just like life itself, with various crimes being committed and we all know that Darke County is not immune to these activities.
I am not so naive that I know Darke County is not susceptible to problems, but it would be nice if people would think twice before they take justice into their own hands. We cannot change what happened but we can make life even more beautiful, safer and livable for whatever time there is for us all.
My suggestion, which probably doesn’t make a bit of difference, is to know who you can trust, be kind to others and learn to change your path in life if things aren’t going well to keep everybody safe. We don’t need violence whatsoever.
Let’s get past the bad times and make the future even greater.
I am not perfect by any means, but I do know right from wrong and that life is too short to disrupt others’ lives. Life is much more pleasant when you’re dealing with the right people and activities. With that, I want people to know I am thankful for the faithful friends I have and have had over the years.
That means a lot to my son Jamie and me. He is my reason for living and my angel. Wish everybody could be kind like he is. I wouldn’t want to share my everyday life with anybody else.
Let’s finish this year in a positive manner and hope Mother Nature feels the same way.
