GREENVILLE – The Greenville Cross Country program will be hosting its first ever Midnight Mile Fundraising event July 29th at the Greenville High School Jennings Center Track & Field Complex.
Walkers and runners alike are invited to join the evening’s event with entry fees on a donation only basis. The event is open to all athletes of any age and community.
Estimated first race time is set for 10 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. based on time seedings. Final fast race will be held at 11:55 p.m. The Jennings Center track will be open at 9 p.m.
Every year, the cross country team attends Camp of Champs. The camp is run by Ron Martin, long time coach of Tiffin and Heidelberg. Teams from all across Ohio attend this camp. The cost per athlete is $230 and all proceeds from the race will go to offset these costs. The Greenville Cross Country program does not want to leave anyone behind! Greenville XC will be returning to camp Aug 6-10.
