Fund Transfers, Advances and Expense Requests

Darke County Commissioners

DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ July 14, 2026, regular meeting began at 9:30 a.m., with Commissioners Aultman and Flatter present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from July 9th.

The examination and allowance of bills were presented and approved. The vouchers for July 9th and 14th were for the General fund: $61,061.24; the outside General funds were $115,789.73, for a total of $176,850.97.

The Auditor/Ditch Assessments had a Fund Transfer. The transfer was for expenses for the 2nd quarter of 2026 for Ditch maintenance. The transfer total was $81,318.32.

Darke County Grants had a Fund Advance for the 2025 Brownfield Grant for Treaty Lanes to cover SME Drilling and Professional Services. The Advance totaled $29,845.88.

The Commissioners and the Auditor had expense requests allowed. The Commissioners for Lynda York and Charity Hutt are to attend the AI for the Rest of Us class in Troy on August 12th. The Total was $121.78. The Auditor’s expense request was for Brad Horsley to attend the 2026 Ohio GIS Conference in Columbus, Sept. 20-22. The total expense will be $2015.00.
