DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ October 21, 2025, regular meeting started at 1:33 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman, Flatter, and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from Oct. 21st. The examination and allowance of bills were $8,484.48 for the General fund, $601,795.19 for outside funds, and a total of $610,279.67
There were two Transfers of Appropriations, one for the Darke County Airport for $400.00 for other utilities, and for Darke County Permanent improvement to cover rental equipment for $20,000.00.
Darke County Grants had a fund Advance for the 2024 CDBG Grant to cover postage. The total was $2.96.
The Juvenile/Probate court had an expense request for Judge Jason Aslinger to attend a Jury Trial Skills course in Columbus. The course occurred on Oct. 2nd-3rd, 2025. The total was for lodging at $139.00, and was approved.
A WPCLF Loan Fund agreement with the Commissioners for the Ft. Jefferson Sewer District was presented. The Loan is for $250,000.00 to design a new sanitary sewer collection system. There is no interest on the loan.
The Darke County Grants 2024 Building Demo and Site Revitalization Program recognized four more blighted or unsafe sites to be demolished, with the owner’s permission. One site is in Union City, and three are in Greenville.
