Free workshop available in time for National Family Caregivers Month

DARKE COUNTY – In time for November as National Family Caregivers Month, Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a free, online, 6-week workshop for family caregivers meeting from 10 am to 11:30 am on Wednesdays starting November 5 and running through December 10.

This workshop covers multiple topics, including ways to reduce stress, guilt, anger and depression; effective communication with family, doctors, and others; self-care in relaxing, goal setting, problem solving; and much more. This program is supported by the Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2, with funds through the Older Americans Act.
