DARKE COUNTY – Local Veterans, or surviving spouses, are invited to pick up their Thanksgiving meal vouchers… a $50 food voucher is available beginning Nov. 13 at 611 Wagner Avenue in the OSU Room.
The vouchers are provided by the Darke County Veterans Service Commission.
Thanksgiving Voucher pick-up times: Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 9 am – 3 pm; Friday, November 14, 2025, from 9 am – 3 pm; Saturday, November 15. 2025, from 9 am – 12 pm
VETERAN REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:
- DD Form 214 with HONORABLE discharge
- Verification of Darke County residency
- Unexpired Photo ID
UNREMARRIED SURVIVING SPOUSE WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION:
- Veteran’s DD 214 with HONORABLE character of service
- Death Certificate – if your name is NOT listed on the Death Certificate
- Must also provide a Marriage Certificate
- Verification of Darke County residency
- Unexpired Photo ID
If you do not have these documents, you will NOT receive a food voucher, even if you’ve been to our office before.
