Franklin Kenneth Gross Jr. “Kenny”, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 2:57 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Brookdale Senior Living in Greenville. Kenny was born April 26, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana, and the son of the late Franklin Kenneth and Josephine H. (Bishop) Gross Sr.
Kenny was well known for his outstanding work ethic, having spent many years as a Captain with the City of Greenville Fire Department and with his wife Tammy (Riegel) Gross, who survives, handled maintenance for the entire City Building and grounds in downtown Greenville.
Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Greenville Union Cemetery with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to EverHeart Hospice, 1350 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio, 45331.
