DARKE COUNTY – Many seniors enjoyed Fun Food with Sean at the Darke County Senior Center. Sean Strawser from Beanz Buttercream Bakery and Eatery brought everything needed to demonstrate how to make delicious pinwheels filled with pecans and cinnamon. Everyone in attendance was able to take home a pinwheel.
Equally as many seniors attended the Eat More Veggies event presented by Eileen Litchfield. Everyone enjoyed an array of healthful vegetables prepared in creative ways, such as tasty dips and sauces or even roasting and/or lightly glazing them.

Description: Our destination will be Quiet Harmony Ranch located in New Paris, Ohio. Come and experience Elk. Discover amazing. Join tours and drive through Elk Adventure to see mamas, babies, and majestic bulls. Easy hiking in Discovery Trails. Check out Action Acres for pedal cars, slides, games, and more. Why not try some elk meat products raised on the farm? We will carpool from the center at 1 pm. (Please consider giving your driver some money to cover fuel expenses.)

Description: Come and enjoy the Greenville High School Wavaires’ show choir. They will entertain us for approximately 45 minutes with a variety of music from their fall concert, including Eye of the Tiger, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Dance with me Tonight, and Boogie Wonderland. They will also perform a spooky set, including Thriller, Monster Mash and Ghostbusters. A tribute to our Armed Forces will be performed, along with various solo and small group acts.
