NEW ORLEANS – Ted and Holly Finnarn of Darke County recently attended the National Farmers Union Convention in New Orleans, held March 7-9, 2026.
The farm gathering was packed with insightful speakers, thought-provoking breakout sessions and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow members from across the USA.
While there, they met and talked with Dr. Jonathan Coppess of the University of Illinois, who addressed the Convention. Jonathan is a native of Darke County, the son of Bill and Susan Coppess of rural Ansonia. Joe Logan, long-time President of the Ohio Farmers Union, was honored at the conclave and received the prestigious Meritorious Service Award.
