EverHeart Hospice announces Camp Encourage 2026

GREENVILLE – EverHeart Hospice is proud to announce Camp Encourage 2026, a free two-day bereavement camp designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and uplifting environment for children ages 6 to 15 who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The camp will be held on June 11–12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Montezuma Spiritual Center, 6731 OH-219, Celina, OH 45822.

Camp Encourage was created with one mission in mind: to help children navigate the challenges of grief while discovering their own strength and resilience. Through engaging activities, team-building games, creative projects, and meaningful group discussions, campers will be empowered to express their feelings in healthy ways, build positive coping skills, connect with peers who share similar experiences, and uncover the courage, kindness, and hope that live within them — their very own superpowers.

“We believe every child deserves a place to feel seen, heard, and supported as they journey through grief,” said Cortney, Chief Growth Officer for EverHeart Hospice. “Camp Encourage is that place – a safe haven where children discover the hero within themselves.”

Camp Encourage is offered at absolutely no cost to families. The application deadline is May 15, 2026. Families interested in enrolling a child are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
